local food movement
I had a lot of fun chatting with owners of coffee shops around the country to see what kinds of dairy and food products they source from local farms and growers. It's the cover story in the November 2009 issue of Fresh Cup Magazine: www.freshcup.com.
My writing has appeared on Fodors.com, in Wine Enthusiast, National Geographic Traveler, Town & Country and American Way (inflight magazine for American Airlines). Closer to home I write for Milwaukee Magazine and M Magazine about food and wine. My book on coffee/tea (The Complete Idiot's Guide to Coffee & Tea) is a must-read for anyone who wants to make quality cups of coffee or tea at home.
